I was very impressed with how well written this was for a YA novel. The entire novel has a very fluid dream like state that creates vivid imagery for the reader. The lead is a vampire named Charlotte who is some what unsure of whats next for her. She has it all from the outside, but appearances can be deceiving and we get a glimpse inside the inner world of Charlotte Emerson. Her maker reappears shortly after the death of her close friend and thats when her world begins to change. suddenly the world is turned upside down for Charlotte and in the end, its turns out to be just what she needs.
